演讲人简介：

    杨松教授于美国明尼苏达大学获得计算机工程硕士、社会学博士，兴趣领域是社会网络、组织和工作研究，入选上海高校特聘教授(东方学者)等人才计划。杨松教授在《Social Science Research》、《Party Politics》等国际期刊发表论文20多篇，出版多本专著，包括2008年与David Knoke合著《Social Network Analysis》（上海世纪格致出版社于2012年翻译成中文出版《社会网络分析》），2016年在SAGE Publications出版了《Social Network Analysis: Methods and Examples》等。

演讲内容简介：

In this presentation, I briefly describe the histories of Social Network Analysis (SNA), emphasizing its long and traditional roots in the discipline of Sociology. I also stressed that the development of SNA benefits tremendously from its multidisciplinary approach, encompassing wisdoms from social sciences to hard sciences. I then describe my own research using SNA in the traditional multivariate model, as well as full network analysis. I conclude this presentation with future excitement of SNA and preliminary thoughts of possible collaborations with mathematicians.
