演讲人简介：

王帅安博士，1984年生，香港理工大学商学院物流与航运学系副教授。王博士本科毕业于清华大学机械工程系；硕士毕业于清华大学工业工程系、德国亚琛工业大学(RWTH Aachen University)生产系统工程专业（双硕士项目）；博士毕业于新加坡国立大学(National University of Singapore)交通工程专业。博士毕业后先后在澳大利亚卧龙岗大学(University of Wollongong)数学系担任讲师、美国欧道明大学(Old Dominion University)商学院信息管理与决策科学系担任助理教授。研究领域包括集装箱航运、港口与物流管理、多式联运、交通工程。近几年发表SCI国际期刊论文80余篇，其中包括在国家自科基金委管理学部认可的A+期刊（TS和TR Part B）上17篇、管理科学领域权威刊物EJOR、IISE Transactions、NRL 9篇。论文在Web of Science数据库中被引用次数超过900余篇次，H指数18。担任国际SCI期刊Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal副主编、SCI/SSCI期刊Transportation Research Part B、Transportation Research Part E、Transportation Letters编委以及50个期刊的审稿人。

演讲内容简介：

Container shipping is the backbone of international trade. In recent years, there have been a rising trend of the amount of quantitative research on container shipping. This seminar will cover a few topics on quantitative liner shipping research, including network design, speed optimization, tactical-problem modelling, ship routing between ports and optimizing the sequence of ships in a string. Forach topic, the motivation, the problem, and the key methodology will be presented.
