讲座题目1:Solving Sudokus on a Container Terminal and Beyond – Live can be so easy and often it is so difficult
内容简介:One of the problems on a container terminal refers to pre-marshalling of containers. The goal is to minimize the number of relocations so that containers can be shipped without conflicts. We present the problem and provide hands-on methods for its resolution. Moreover, we show how related results can be used in real container-terminals.
讲座题目2:Advanced information systems in seaports: State of the art and future perspectives
内容简介:Maritime shipping and decision analytics tools have moved into the focus of major research efforts throughout the last decade. Besides various improvements on planning issues on the interface between these two areas, also assisting systems have changed based on major innovations. The next step to enable better integration of different problems allowing for system-wide optimization is only possible through an efficient use of those assisting systems including state-of-the-art technologies, system-wide data availability, information systems, and alike. The objective of this talk is to provide an overview and a classification of port related information systems together with a discussion of future research issues to be faced.
